Finland needs your help!

A country called Finland needs your help.

We used to be one of the best countries in the world, maybe the best. Now we are in a serious trouble as a nation.

We were open-minded, reasonable, calm and peaceful place. Three years ago everything changed.

This country is now economically and mentally in very poor condition. This is a common attribute in many nations in the so called western world, but Finland maybe is the worst example of them all. In three years we have ruined too much. This is a world-historical event in its speed.

Reason to all of this has a triple background: war in Ukraina, our media and our leaders.

In short: When war in Ukraina started Finland turned to USA/Nato and turned its back to Russia. Everything coming from USA seemed out to be the only solution in every problem. Simultaneously all the things that come from Russia are evil and if they do not look like evil at all we interpret them to be evil. And of course: Russia is going to attack us. There is no discussion about these "facts". So, parts of the constitution, international agreements, and human rights have been thrown into the trash.

Things can even get ridiculous here. There have been some discussions that our railways track width must be narrowed, because it is similar to Russian, not the same as in western Europe. And should we remove traffic signs showing distance for example to St. Petersburg?

Finland had a skill to live between two cultures. We were not provoked, when someone deliberately tried to annoy us. We went to make peace in many places. Martti Ahtisaari got a nobel prize for these kind of actions. I wonder what he would say about today´s Finland. He maybe would ask: Why did we turn our back on the war that started in our neighboring country? Why did we openly start to hate Russia? Is this really all we can do?

There is a huge demand of facts, discussion and simple logical reason in this country.
