~CUTTING OUT: Bouclé; 1)2x centre front 2)2x side front
3)2x centre back 4)2x side back 5)2x upper sleeve 6)2x underneath 7)2x collar and fold 8)2x front facing 9)1x back facing on fold
A)hem frill cut on the bias: 190-196-202-208-214cm long altogether, 4.5cm wide
B)middle frill cut on the bias: 188-194-200-206-212cm long altogether, 4.5cm wide
C)top frill cut on the bias: 207-212-217-222-227cm long altogether, 4.5cm wide
D)2 sleeve frills cut on the bias: 63-64-65-65-66cm long, 4.5cm wide
Lining: Piece 1 minus width of facing, piece 3 minus neck facing and in centre back on a fold with an ease pleat about 2cm wide, pieces 2,4,5 and 6.
Interfacing:see pattern layout. Also apply interfacing to hem allowances.
CONSTRUCTION: *stitch centre back seam, front and back panel seams, side and shoulder seams. Stich facing seams. Press seam allowances open.
*Notched collar: Pin facing right sides together with coat. Build some fullness into corners of lapels.Sticth facing on slong front edges and edges of lapels up to marking (corner). Leave facing lying right sides together with coat for the time being.Sticth collar pieces together on outer edges, pushing up extra fabric of top collar from outer edge, stitch narrow ends beginning and ending exactly in seam line of joining edge.Turn collar.Lay collar between coat and facing. Stitch undercollae piece on neck edge, top collar on facing. Clip seam allowances of fronts in corners and of facings. Press collar joining seams open.Turn facing to inside. Pin collar joining seams together exactly. Lay back facing up again and stitch the seam allowances together close to collar joining seam. Lay facing down.
*Unfold facings at hem. Press hem allowances to inside, handsew. Gather frills along centre, Pin frills on hem edge and along marked placement lines. Stitch frills, keeping facings clear. Lay facings to inside again, sew on at hem allowance.
*Stitch sleeve seams. Press seam allowances open. Press sleeve hem allowances to inside an handsew.Stitch narrow ends of frills together. gather frills along centre. Pin frills on lower edges of sleeves.
*Set in sleeves, easing tops to fit. Sew in shoulder pads.
*Line coat.
*Work buttonfole in right front.

Kolmella puikolla yks oikein, kaks nurin, jatketaan 15 jalkaa, 3 kyynärää ja 6 tuumaa, minkä jälkeen kavennetaan, jatketaan 2 oikein yks nurin 11 tuumaa, jonka jälkeen levennetään ja kursinta 2 oikein, 2 nurin. Vastapistot väliin (3 kerrosta), jonka jälkeen 4 oikein, 1 nurin. tätä jatketaan kunnes lanka loppuu.
