John Archibald Wheelerin viivästetty kaksoisrakokoe on näköjään suoritettu:
After a Short Delay, Quantum Mechanics Becomes Even Weirder

Tulos:
"
The results, reported this week in Science, prove that the photon does not decide whether to behave like a particle or a wave when it hits the first beam splitter, Roch says. Rather, the experimenter decides only later, when he decides whether to put in the second beam splitter. In a sense, at that moment, he chooses his reality.
"
Vielä on suorittamatta koe, jossa vastaava kaksoisrakokoe tehdään 13 miljardia vuotta vanhalle valolle ja mahdollisesti vaikutetaan menneisyyteen aina 13 miljardin vuoden päähän.

kykenisimme säätämään maailmankaikkeuden ominaisuudet ja vakiot elämälle sopiviksi mahdollistaen tällaisen elämän. ;)
Asiaa on selostettu kirjassa Paul Davies, The Coldilocks Enigma. Sivulla 279 on kuva "Cosmic delayed-choice experiment" ja sivulla 280:
"
The weirdness of the delayed-choice experiment is that althought it is the action of the experimenter that is responsible for fixing the photon's wave of particle nature, the observation that is made has a crucial relevance to the past - maybe even to the very remote past.
So what an experimenter may choose to today helps to shape the nature of reality (e.g. wave or particle) that was, perhaps a very long time ago. That is not quite the same as explicit backward causation (which would enable the experementer to send a signal into the past), but it does have a distinct teleological feel to it. I would describe it, in Wheeleristic terms, as 'teleology without teleology'.

Signaalin lähettäminen menneisyyteen ei ilmeisesti onnistu. Varmuuden vuoksi kuitenkin pitää varoa tarkkailemasta kovin vanhaa valoa, koska voi vahingossa tehdä kaksoisrakokokeen, vaikuttaa menneisyyteen ja tuhota nykyisen sivilisaation.
kannattaa kuitenkin aina pitää foliohattu päässä, varsinkin vanhaa valoa katsellessa.
Toivottavasti tulevaisuudessakin pitävät foliohatun päässään, muutenhan tulevaisuudessa voitaisiin vaikuttaa meidän lähettämäämme valoon.
ei todistettavasti tule itsestään
Tuopas ilmi nuo todisteet. Eikun ootas, olen kuullutkin. Vastaus oli: "Katso ympärillesi."
