EU law “shall have primacy over the law of the member states” (article 10).

Englannin konservatiivinen puolue on todellakin samaa mieltä EU:n perustuslaista kuin Suomessa Vapaan Suomen Liitto. Maan lehdistökin on toisenlaista: avoimenpaa ja rehellisempää kuin Suomessa. Korostaa täytyy, että kriittisyys EU:n suhteen ei rajoita kenenkään - paitsi joidenkin hihhaloijien uskonlahkomaisia intressejä. Britannia ja sen konservatiivinen puolue kannattaa maansa itsenäisyyttä Euroopan unionia vastaan, ja koska maassa ei ole poliittisesti vähälahjaista kansaa, Konservatiivit tulevat voittamaan työväenpuolueen seuraavissa vaaleissa.
