We are organizing a radical protest against cannabis prohibition. On november 20. 2010 4.20 pm a big group of people gonna light marijuana cigarettes, pipes, bongs, joints and vapos in front of Parliament Building (Helsinki, Mannerheimintie 30) to require decriminalisation the use of cannabis, possession of small quantities and farming for personal use to adults. Involved can be supported by our demands without committing any crime. Just be there. We do not exclude the possibility of get cannabis permitted as taxable substance, non-prescription medicine to pharmacies, to be sell from Alko (alcohol shops), health foods or coffee shops which have been used successfully in some countries elsewhere in Europe. The current situation is likely to increase crime and concentrate the resources of authorities away from real crime. Crimes which harm other people should be a priority in the fight against crime. Cannabis user or a breeder who farm their plants to themself does not harm anyone and does not support crime. The current practice is forcing cannabis users to acquire cannabis from traffickers, criminals and supports the transition of many dangerous substances. We are calling for cannabis the more current approved status in society to protect people. Meanwhile the main event is happening in Helsinki, in Tampere (Tammelantori), in Kuopio (city hall) and some other cities (more information coming later) will be support-smoking-events.
