The Osthrobothnia based artist's lifeless body was discovered in his single bedroom apartment yesterday evening as fellow residents started having suspicions regarding the condition of the flat.
The police does not suspect foul play as a contributing factor in his untimely death. According to grieving friends and relatives, several new AT-songs were in the works and may be post-humously published by his inner circle of fans or fellow musicians. His computer was searched for a potential suicide message but the investigators came up with little but several gigabytes worth of adult entertaiment.
As shocked as the death of the controversial artist leaves the community, people close to Elton note that his condition had been deteriorating in recent months and some doubted his ability to sustain his celibacy for several more years. A man in his late 20's, who wishes not to reveal his name, commented that;
"I could see the bitter sweet twinkle in his eye growing weaker and I felt he was overexterting himself artistically relative to the rewards granted to him by this life. All I know is that his rejections are over and that he's gone to teener pastures."
Another associate of Elton's added that; "He was a kind, if eccentric man of contrasting characteristics. He was passionate about his work and I felt like he helped to carry the international AT-community through plenty of lonely nights by putting himself on the line and making the best of a bad situation by utilizing humor and yet managing to take subtle stabs at the very system which left him isolated and surely contributed to his premature passing."
Elton's circle of friends is now determined to organize a tribute concert to honor the memory of Elton (1984-2014) and his work. His funeral will be held some five days later, the location of which remains undisclosed.

On his deathbed, Elton´s final plea had known to be that the AT-version of "Hurt" would be played at his funeral, as it would not only help to reflect on his past life in a beautiful, ironic and melancholic fashion, but that the song itself, according to Elton´s notion, was a true cornerstone for all AT-songs to properly establish themselves on the singles forum by a close acquaintance of him.
