They are all under one roof with different appeal. That's Gridfest'Evil, an event that showcases the best of the signed and unsigned alternatives. It starts off heavy with the likes of Vanity Beach, pure industrialists and hard-core-synth freaks. Still on the heavy, we head straight into cult glam with Slipping Stitches, which is then followed by gloomy synth pop from Viola on If Society. We chill out mid-way with the "one-man acoustic killing machine", Paul James Berry from the UK. The grand finale brings you the best British pop sensation to come out of Finland, Flannelmouth.

Hailing from Helsinki, Vanity Beach mix the best of Industrial and gothic sounds where screaming chants and hardcore beats verge upon the world of electronica. They are motivators of dance hence the focal track "911" found on their self-produced album called, "Night of the New". Skinny Puppy would certainly "Dig it" too.
