"PIR-8912 is a passive infrared intrusion alarm system designed for protecting shops, offices, homes, motor-homes, caravans and boats applications. It offers interior protection of 100 square metres in area with its built-in passive infrared motion detector and perimeter protection by connecting switches to its Normally closed (N.C.) sensor loop. The alarm can be fixed to wall or the corner of a room at the height on1-2 metres above floor level that the owner can reach for on-off control. The alarm output can drikve an external siren or alarm bell, and activates its internal buzzer on alarm condition. It accommodates a 9V alkaline battery as back-up power in case of power failure.
The PIR-8912 employs the most advanced circuitry offering sophisticated performance making it suitable for variety of applications and operating conditions. Its motion sensor circuit is selectable for “Single Shot” or “Pulse Count” operation, the relay output is selectable for “steady” or “Pulsating” operations and selections of “Pre-warning”. “Alarm” or “off” are possible for the internal buzzer. The alarm offers the owner total simplicity of use. Unlike other systems, owner is not required to hurry out of the protected area when the alarm is turned on. The alarm’s own “Brain” will set itself in armed mode after it is satisfied that the owner has left the property; so that the owner can perform walk-testing for protection coverage before leaving as long as he wishes. The alarm also features entry delay, standby arming delay and alarm auto reset and re-arm.
The alarm is available in two versions; 1) PIR-8912. Single alarm unit in blister package; 2) PIR-8912B, alarm kit package consisting the following items: One PIR-8912 Alarm Unit, One Mini Piezo Siren, One AC/DC Power adaptor and pair magnetic contacts"

Toisin kuin muut järjestelmät, omistajan ei tarvitse kiirehtiä pois suojelualueelta kun hälytys on päällä.Hälytyksen omat "aivot" asettaa itsensä valvontatilaan, kun se on vakuuttunut siitä, että omistaja on poistunut alueelta; siten, että omistaja voi testata kävely-testauksella suojan kattavuusalueen suuruutta niin kauan kuin haluaa ennen poistumistaan. Hälytyksessä on myös tuloviive, valmiustilan/ valvontatilan viive ja hälytyksen auto resetointi ja uudelleen valvontatilaan meno.
