Many women define “unattractive” via innate and immutable traits as well as those that are functionally fixed. These include (but are not restricted to): Height, Hair retention, Ethnicity, personal wealth, social status. Essentially, many women treat men like a fashion accessory. It’s not whom you made yourself, but rather who made you (even if the trait is not passed along via genetics).
In contrast (and this list is testament to it), most men have affinities for things that are reasonable, reasonably attainable and are not innate or immutable traits. They are generally behavioural markers, and really are about what the person is inside. In general women are hardly in the same league of morality as men when it comes to mate selection. You can lie to yourself, but don’t think you can fool others.
