BRIDE Francesca Moorcroft was wowed on her wedding day as her groom wasted little time getting into the 'swing' of married life – as he surprised her with a dance routine that has become an internet sensation.
Husband James interrupted the traditional first dance to carry out a choreographed display with three friends, all set to music close to his bride's heart.
And now a video of the dance captured by their wedding photographer has gone 'viral' on the internet.
The footage of 27-year-old James and his pals boogieing to everything from ballroom Latin to Gangnam-style has been viewed more than a million times online.
It was the finely-tuned result of weeks of planning ahead of James' marriage to Francesca, who is from Congleton, at The Ashes in Endon on August 1.
Twenty-seven-year-old Francesca, who met James when they were both professional dancers, said: "People were expecting something spectacular from us because of our background but we'd said we just wanted to shuffle around the floor – or so I thought.
"My dress was so fitted I couldn't do much more than that anyway.
"But I felt it was boring for people so I actually asked James if we could do something a bit more up tempo - but he told me not to worry, and the next second his friend Ryan was on the dance floor.

"What they did was brilliant. I couldn't stop laughing."
The dance begins with James showing Francesca to a chair before the four men take centre stage amid wild cheers from their wedding guests.
And James revealed he was delighted he managed to keep it from his wife right up until the moment his friends interrupted as they danced to James Bay's If I Ain't Got You.
He said: "I wanted to do something memorable, and I think we pulled it off.
"It's amazing how many times it's been viewed online, because it only started out as a bit of fun dancing to songs that remind me and Fran of our relationship together." The newly-weds, who live in Cannock, won several national titles as dance partners before calling it a day three years ago to pursue a dance-wear business.
But nobody at the wedding was expecting such a spectacular show when they began their first dance.
Their photographer, Congleton-based Frank Henshall, who originally posted the video on his Facebook page, said he was just as blown-away as Francesca.
"It was the first time I've ever seen anything like this - and I get to see a lot of first dances.
"A lot of couples try something different, but I have never known a bride be completely in the dark like that - she was gobsmacked.
"The whole thing was fantastic and I'm not surprised that so many people have enjoyed watching it. Although for a quarter of a million people to watch my video is staggering."
The video has also been shared by a wedding magazine, Ireland's Wedding Journal, and watched a further 900,000 times.
