Koska arvailu ärsytti, otin ja kysyin itse mieheltä ja tässä vastaus.
To answer your question:
A stock R33 won't be able to lap the Nordschleife faster than 8.15 or so I
would think.
It is a bit debatable whether or not the car I drove was standard, it just
depends on one's interpretation.
We had increased the turbo boost, improved the airflow to the intercooler (I
don't know what the power was though), and changed the programming of ETS (4
wheel drive) and HICAS (4 wheel steering) so that the car was better
balanced (avoiding understeer steady state) and therefore more adapted to my
personal driving preferences.
Then I got a near perfect lap in October 94 when the ambient temp was fairly
low.
All those small details add up to a performance increase. I think it is
fair to say that the car was still standard even though the car one would
buy won't be able to do the same lap time...

Tehoja oloi otettu reilusti lisää, ohjausta parannettu...
Mitähän sille olisi pitänyt tehdä ettei olisi "vakio"?
Ehkä tuo vielä on vakio siinä mielessä, että koneen osaltahan siinä on vain poistettu "kuristimet" joilla tehot on saatu japanin rajoihin.
Muilta osin autoa on vain säädetty. Ei mielestäni virittämistä tai sitten ollaan turhan kriittisiä.

Jaa, minun ymmärtääkseni tuossa on kasvatettu tehoa, ei tiedä paljonko mutta ehkäpä vain 400hp:hen asti, ehkä 800:n.
Minusta aikamoista virittelyä. Ellei tuo ole virittelyä niin mikä sitten on?
Minunkin mielestäni tuo on vielä suht lievää virittämistä, mutta autoa on modifioitu aivan selvästi. Johan se todettiin. Turha tässä nyt on ruveta selvää asiaa halkomaan ja monimutkaistamaan.
Eli ruuvattu vakio auto. Vakio kamaa
Tosiaan tästähän on kyse. Japaniin kyseisen auton tehoja on jouduttu rajoittamaan mm. ilmanottoa kuristamalla, ahtoja laskemalla jne...
Moni pyörä on kuristettu 25kw nykyisten ajokorttilakien takia. Kuristuksen voi poistaa helposti vaikka merkkihuollossa ja katsastaa täysitehoiseksi. Tässäkään tapauksessa ei ole tippaakaan viritetty vaan pyörä on palautettu normaalitehoiseksi.
