Why do i hate my home country Finland or ”North-Korea of Europe” as they call Finland here in Europe. Where should i start…so much to tell about…
Nature and weather:
One can describe our nature in one word: forest. Boring endles forest(with some tundra and swamp). Some of you fancy cityfolk might think it’s exiting living in midle of the forest like most of we Finns do, but it sucks really. We have 4 seasons
Winter: Longest season. extreme cold and no daylight at all! Imagine yourself sitting a day in darknes and painfull cold weather . Then try 5 months! Needles to say that people are very depressed during that period.
Spring: Like winter but slightly warmer and more daylight. People are even more depressed during spring for unknown reason.
Summer: lasts about 2 months. Usually it rains all the time. And now it’s 24 hours of daylight=imposible to sleep. There are swarms of mosquitos during summer. After those mosquitos have tortured us 2 months were are praying winter to come.
Fall: Even more rain…darkness
History: Finns lived in caves and hunted bears until our civilized naighbours Swedes came and teached us to read and farm in the midle ages. After that Finns were servants to more inteligent and culturally advanced Swedes and later to Russians. Finland became independent accidentaly in 1917. During world war II Finland provoked two wars with Soviet union and lost them both . In the other war called continuation war Finland atacked Soviet Union with our ally the Nazi germany. Luckily Stalin felt pity over Finland and left us namely independent. Next 50 years Finland was Soviet puppet state. Finns are very ashamed for their history and they don’t like to talk about it.
People: Finns are cosidered as weirdest people in all of Europe (and maybe in whole world). A major part of population are alcoholics. Depression like other mental problems and suicides are very common. Finns are quiet and prefer not to talk until they have to. They still behave much like cavemen: they are violent and brutal in their behauviour. Finns look like mixture of mongols and swedes. They are fat and ugly. They feel bitternes towards everything and everyone for their cruel fate to live here.
I have lived here 22 years and i have hated every moment of my life. I have planed to move to some nice country like USA but it’s imposible because people everywhere hate us (for understandable reasons). Right now i’m too depressed to even kill myself like many of my friends have already done. I’m going to get drunked and pray God that i wake up in a different country. There are still much to tell about Finland and i will continue someday soon.

Some people in Finland truly hate Sweden, and the Swedish-speaking people. Finns used to mostly hate the Russians before the war, but that changed. After The Soviet Union beat us up in the war we have really grown to hate the Swedes more.
Sure, all the small nations hate the bigger neighbor. But the Swedish-hate in Finland really is something else. I know some people who can't sleep with their hate.
