Epiphone versus Gibson

Mielenkiintoista tietoa jenkkilästä koskien Epiphone skittoja...

Hivenen paremmat puut valitaan Gibson kitaroihin. Muuta eroa ei ilmeisesti ole. Onkohan uskomista?

...To make a long story short, even though I had the money to buy my Gibson, I started noticing I couldn't tell them from the Epiphones when I tested them. When it came time to buy, I went through Sweetwater, and although they sell both, all three of the guys I talked to there on different days said the same thing, which is "if you buy a Gibson, you're mostly paying an extra few grand for the name these days."

They went into more detail than that, but that's the basic idea. They explained that even the parts are the same, and the main difference is that the people who choose the wood for both Epi
and Gibson tend to save the nicest pieces for the Gibsons, though that really only mattered with non-finished tops. I asked one of the guys if he was absolutely certain of this stuff, and he said they have in-store seminars just for the sales people, and they'd recently had one about this very topic.

Vanhimmat

Ainkaan gibsonin halvimpien (1000-2000€) merkkien ja epiphonen vastaavien kopioiden välillä. Ainakaan noin soundin suhteen. Väittäisin, että aika guru saa olla, jos jotain eroa kuulee.
