We are a happy small family with only one 8 month- old-baby-boy living in Barcelona city. The apartment is very centric, near the famous cathedral “Sagrada Familia” and is also nice, sunny and big .In the apartment we are already 4: (1) mother: 31 year-old, Italian but grown up in Brazil, living and working in Barcelona since 2000; (2) father: 36 year-old Italian, photographer, who is always travelling around for his jobs and is in Barcelona since 2004; (3) Diego, baby, born in November 2005 in Barcelona ;and (4) a 21 year-old Spanish student from Switzerland that we are hosting. At home we speak a mix of Portuguese, Italian and Spanish, but we all speak also English. We are looking for an au pair girl to join our family and take care of our baby 35 hours a week, 7 hours in a row per day, 5 days a week .During these hours she would be in charge of all tasks regarding Diego – prepare simple meals and feed him, bath and change him or put him to sleep, and naturally also play and go for a walk with him. These hours would be some weeks during the day and some weeks during the night, as the mother works in a 24 hour company, with a rotational schedule. The au pair must be nice, positive, responsible, patient and independent. During her free hours or days off she would be encouraged to make friends, program her own activities and go out at night, but she would also be welcomed to join us in our own activities – go to the beach, go for a walk or go swimming, etc. She would have her own private bedroom. We need references, and any kind of previous experiences with kids would be highly appreciated. To Start on September 1st, 2006 and stay for an year.
