Have any of you just stopped for a minute and really looked around you to see what this world has become, how people treat you, how people look at you, and examined yourself? I was browing the t.v channels to see in my view rated R music videos that kids shouldnt see, and I even saw a Barbie perfume for little girls, and how cheating is just mainstream, and how society wants us to conform to a certain someone like the celebrities. I just find, that all of it is always directed towards little girls, and women. And when guys see this stuff, thats what they want, since guys are known to be visual. Do any of the women on arabium feel that pressure? For me personally, I have gotten to know some Muslim guys in the past, who wanted the "good girl" and came to me because they wanted to "settle down" but then after a month or two, decide to go back to their old ways of parties and drinking etc, because they cant handle being with a person who actually cares, I dont get it. Then theres the double standard, a girl cant do this or shouldnt do this because it will look bad on the family if someone sees etc. but yet all these guys go out do their deed, want the 'good girl' and cant handle it because they are so used to that "bad girl" type, and fall in love. Im not saying that I want that type of guy hut im honestly scarred by Muslim men, for all the games they have played. So here I am on arabium, hoping to make a friend or more, and hoping to meet the nice guy, but Im beginning to wonder...do they really exist? or is this whole falling in love, getting married, being together through thick and thin, just a complete joke? and a fairy tale?
I think...after being hurt by my own people...that its all a fairy tale.
I know exactly where you are coming from. This is the reason why I did not marry anyone in my country. There are men from certain countries which I will not mention who not only act like idiots back home but also where ever they go. The fact is that they grow up thinking that they are better than women. They actually do not believe they are doing anything wrong. But do not let a woman act like that. They all say they want this nice virgin Muslima. Well I do not want to meet anyone who talks like that. Most are only muslims because they were raised like that. They have absolutely no relationship with God. Find someone who respects you and also does not try to convince you that he is some "Good" Muslim. Each of us is responsible for our actions.
Just remember this guys, Allah never takes a vacation.
