Lieneekö Tarzanin kirjoittanut Burroughs ensimmäisenä tuonut käsitteen G-string kirjallisuuteen? Burroughshan puki Tarzaninsa G-stringeihin, mutta ei varmaankaan pistänyt tätä heittelemään G-stringejään ympäri viidakkoa rummunpäristyksen ja Janen pyllynkeikutuksen tahtiin.

Onkohan jo tehty tutkimus siitä, kuinka paljon nykyisen musiikkisaasteen keskellä kasvanut ihminen ajattelee pyllyä päivittäin verrattuna noihin Tarzanin aikoihin?
Veikkaisin, että huomattavasti enemmän.
Entisajan ihminen ajatteli takapuolta itseisarvollisesti objektina vain harvoin, kun taas nykynuori ajattelee pyllyä tärkeänä päivittäisenä osana elämäänsä.
Mikä muu tähän on voinut johtaa kuin takapuolikulttuurin viljely koulunkin musiikintunneilla.
