Afrophile, am sorry to comment on your lack of ideas....Do not try to look down on Finnish women or make it sound like they dont know what they want and therefore settle for African men out of ignorance. Please give a woman respect.
Not all African men are bad and men are same everywhere regardless of race.There are both good and bad ones in European, Arab and African Men.
For one reason or the other,there has been some unfortunate stories but I will urge you to go further to study some African cultures and you will understand how special women mean to us.

I've heard enough of this African men respecting women BS and I'm sick of African men who prey on fat and ugly Finnish women who have a low self-esteem and use them as a means of getting a residence permit to Finland.

Well, I know many African guys who have cute girls and of course am not exception. If you have seen a desperate African guy with a "fat and ugly Finnish woman" as you said , then that is their own cup of tea.We are selective.
Do you know that many Finnish women go to Gambia and other parts of Africa for a reason you and I are aware of ?. Do you think they are all fat and ugly ?
Trust me,if you go out with a well established African guy, he will pick up a the cutest lady before you...By the time you try to get DRUNK before you can approach the lady due to your low self esteem and lack of self confidence, he had already made :D :D :D

Dont stay there and be throwing bullshit over the internet out of jealousy and hatred.I even doubt if you have a better woman than the description you have given earlier.

Because of your proud attitude when you are drunk and melancholic LIFESTYLE wanting your wives and girlfriends to be your mama when you are sober coupled with your disrespect for your woman, is the main reason why you end up going for the Thai women who are also desperate for stay in Europe and therefore tries to endure your weird attitudes.Would you say those men who go for the Thai and other African women are fat, ugly and lack self esteem?

You re right ,Smilim..there is nothing wrong with appearance.
The truth here is that , since the Finnish guy has failed out of their weakness to compete with the foreigner for Finnish women, they have therefore resorted to mocking and making funny comments on all ladies who goes for a foreigner...Just to create the impression in the minds of other women that if they go for a foreigner , then it implies that they are fat,ugly and lack self esteem.

Not all Finnish women who go for foreigners are fat, uneducated/dumb, naive and/or ugly, just the ones who go for Africans and Arabs/muslims.

Statistics tell us that Finnish-African marriages rarely last longer than a few years and it's no wonder. Some uneducated bumster from Gambia will struggle learning Finnish and won't find a job and the Finnish woman gets tired of being the provider in the family and will also get tired of the cheating and lies of African men.

Well, Africa as a continent has many countries and we have different cultures all together.For the past 6yrs in Finland, i have never met a student in any of these universities claiming to be a Gambian. Moreover, this thread is not about a Gambian man , but it was about the Ghanaian man.
Most of the foreigners here came on the grounds of education from Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, Cameron etc.Not all of these people can be said to be bad people. Majority of them are really helping the economy...so, if someone from some part of Africa does wrong doesn't mean all Africans are bad.

Anyone who share the same opinion with him is as a looser as him. So,with this i hope you will find answers to your question.
It really unbearable the way foreigners are perceived and treated in this country.
Yes,I agree some are not helping but there are a huge percentage of foreigners in this country who are helping the economy of Finland.
Foreigners including students do all sort of shitty jobs which their Finnish counterparts have always rejected at the employment office...and out of ignorance, many dont even know that aside the free education, the foreign student has no right to kela but rather helps the government to pay kela..
Enough is enough!!!

Better go out there and find out how many Finns knows about this. There has been countless number of times i have had to explain this to people.No foreign student is or has ever cried to Kela for support and yes, we appreciate the free education.
"UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THEIR OWN CITIZEN" go to the employment office and ask them how many Finnish youth are who visit their offices are willing to clean toilets ?.Even my own friend couldnt get summer job this year all because he prefers to stay home than cleaning toilets and public place. Do you still talk about unemployment for citizens here ?
lastly, he stressed that Finnish women who marries especially Africans and Arabs/Muslims are those who have low self esteem.Does it mean that these are the worst men on earth ? So, if you share the opinion that these men from from africa, arab or muslims are the most inferior...then you are as looser as him. You cant be better tban all african, arab or muslim men.

Finding a job as a foreigner, especially arab or african man, whether you do or don't speak fluent Finnish is very difficult.

I may be subjective but my Ghanaian husband has lived in Finland for 4 years, he speaks fluent Finnish (with an accent) and he has a Finnish degree which allows him to work in a feild where theres constant shortage of workers. Just because of his African surname, black skin or whatever reason he's not even asked for an interview! Or he's told there's no vacansies (oh, but they advertised on local graphic...) or without even talking with him more than few words : "You're Finnish skills are not adequate." He has a certificate for his Finnish studies with top grades but the employers always clame its a fake or they do not need it.

My husband has applied for same jobs with his own name and made up Finnish name - as a Finn he would have been employed!

Luckily he's been able to get some "left-over-jobs" so he doesn't get completely frustrated with the system here. The arabs and africans are used here as last resort - damn i hate that!

Actually, the employers cant be blamed so much because they actually refuse to employ foreigners into some positions just for the fear of loosing their customers. In this modern days of civilation, its still weird how the finn reacts upon seeing a black person. I had same situation when i had to work in one supermarket as part of my internship. I had to go home everyday with humiliations. Customers walk towards a shelf to pick an item but the moment they see the black man working there trying the fill the shelves with stuff, then they turn away. Sometimes,especially the youth comes around and starts making funny jokes and screams....The world is moving forward so time to catch up,people.
You will pity a lot of Finns when you meet them outside of Finland due to lack of social skills and ability to integrate with foreigners.Am saying this out of my experience in Spain and the UK.
