I met the only man I truely trusted and loved completely, only issue was he was Finnish. I gave up my whole life and carrier, family and friends to move to Finland to be with him. I adored him and treated him like he was my world as he was for 12 years. I was visiting my family and he and I would speak every day sometimes several times and lots of text messages of love and missing each other. One day after a short good night chat (before he headed to bed) we spoke of love and missing the other, counting the days till my return. 4 hours later I got a text from him saying he wanted a divorce and it was over and he wanted out. No hope nothing to work on he just wanted out.
I flew straight home changing my flight and visit to usa was over.
Now I sit and wonder if I can have a life here anymore?
He told me when I tried to learn Finnish it gave him a headacke, so I never learned the language, I only speak English.
He told me He did not like going out so I never really learned anything of how to socialize here.
I am an American lady who loves to laugh, huge heart and cares too much but knows very little of the people of this beautiful land...
Do I have home of finding friends even? let alone more. I am now 57 and scared to death that my life is over and mere exsistance will soon take over.
