As an au pair, you will spend 12 months living with a carefully screened American family and caring for their children up to 45 hours per week. In your free time, you can spend time with new friends and experience life in the U.S. To become an au pair, you need to be between 18 and 26 years of age, have experience caring for children, speak English, and be a high school graduate, among other qualifications.
