Apple ja yliherkät jenkit

hauska juttu:

"Always a good way to kick off the weekend: a video on what happens if a 3rd grader from the South Bay writes a letter top Apple, containing some suggestions on how to improve the iPod nano (e.g. by introducing lyric support).

The 9-year old girl got a nice, formal letter from Apple's law department - after having waited for 3 months, that is. Basically, the company "doesn't accept unsolicited ideas" so their advise would be not to send in any suggestions at all (if this advise is ignored, the idea becomes property of Apple and they can use them in any way they see fit... even by "giving them to others"). We all know 9-year olds just love reading up on huge conglomerate's legal policies, so Apple included that hint in their response as well.

Rules are rules, policies are policies... but... err... surely they could have handled this more nicely? Ah well, deary-old mum stood up for her child and now it's all over the networks as well as the Internet. Pretty sure the little rascal will be receiving a more personal letter anytime soon"
