Kansallislauluista vielä

Kirjoitin tämän äskettäin toiselle fpalstalle, enkä juuri nyt ehdi kääntämään sitä. Olettaisin kuitenkin suurimmalla osalla olevan tarpeeksi hyvä englanninkielen taito sen ymmärtämiseen.


EDIT: Poistin aikaisemman viestini, jotta voisin korjata kielioppivirheen, mutta unohdin ettei lähes identtisiä viestejä saa lähettää. Tämän johdosta päätin liittää mukaan koko keskustelun aiheesta. Viimeinen viesteistä on se omani, jota varten kirjoitin tämän viestin.

"I thought i wouldn`t say anything, because i should be happy that Finland got a gold medal in first place, but... That is so unrespectful from Sweden to use choir for some countries, and for some countries they play only HALF of the national anthem from tape! I think that was very rude to play only half of the finnish anthem.. like there wouldn`t have been time for more, it`s not that long anyway. Well, i quess that is what we can expect from Sweden. I don`t know who they think they are to classify countries to gruops who deserve a choir and who deserve only a half of a national anthem. It would have been better to not use choirs at all, if they aren`t able to use them to all."


"Watching the marathon medal ceremony made the thing seem even more biased. Italy got it's national anthem completely/almost completely from a tape, while Finland only got few verses. Countries getting choir are on a class of their own.

Have the organizers categorized countries this way?

Sweden > Italy > Finland"
