Olen nähnyt 4246 elokuvaa (listaukset olemassa, joten tuo lukema ei perustu muistitietooni) ja sinun 250-listallasi on ainoastaan 87 leffaa, jotka olen nähnyt ja niistä vain neljä mahtuisi minun TOP-250-listalleni (en ole sellaista tehnyt, mutta TOP-100 lista on koossa). On aika vaikea asettaa paremmuusjärjestykseen eri genrejä keskenään ja olen siinä mielessä "saippuaprinsessa", että draamat, trillerit ja crime-leffat ja screwball-komediat viehättävät ja ylipäätään tarinat, joissa on paljon dialogia.
Mielenkiinnolla kuitenkin luen muiden listauksia, vaikka omaani en "kehtaa" tänne laittaa. Nauraisitte kuitenkin minut ulos ja haukkuisitte nynnyksi ja herkkähermoiseksi. "Psycho" nousee peräti TOP-kymppiin minun listallani, mutta ei kai se nykynuorisoa (ei selvinnyt tosin minkä ikäinen sinä olet) liiemmin järkytä. listani on pysynyt jo pitkään samana, ainoa muutos pitkään pitkään aikaan on ollut Miller's Crossingin putoaminen pois ja Mies Joka Ei Ollut Siellä tuleminen tilalle.
kyseessä ei ole mikään parhaimpien numeraalinen järjestys, vaan numerot ovat lukemista helpottamassa. mainittakoon tosin että sijalla 19 oleva elokuva on mielestäni se kaikkien aikojen parhain elokuva.
