We have decided to find an au pair because we need help looking after our children and with some light
housework. We are looking for an au pair to be a big sister to our children and to become another member
of our family.
My name is Anderline McLarney and I am thirty six years old, I work as nurse in the Portland hospital
looking after patients. My husband Patrick is fourty years old and works as a car salesman.
We live in a six bedroom house in London and have one son Charlie age five years old and a daughter
Clare who is six years old and goes to the local primary school.
The children like to go swimming once a week and we would like you to take them to their swimming club.
We will require you to baby-sit two nights a week and need you to help us in our home for a few hours
each week with light housework and some ironing. You will have weekends free and we will pay you
Ј1,520 per week pocket money which we will give to you every Friday.
We are an American family working and living in the United Kingdom, We saw your profile on
www.eaupair.com and we decided to contact you, to discuss the possibilities of having you as our Nanny.
There is also a good language school and we will encourage you to go for lessons there to learn English.
In there is one pub full of young people, a shop/post office and a hall where people get together to have
parties. There is also a bus stop outside our house with direct access into Heart of London city.
You will have your own bedroom and share the family bathroom with the children Nick and I have our own
bathroom.
We do have any pets and we do not smoke.
We need an au pair to start with us in March 20th and stay until at least 7 Months. We will need you to drive
our second car and we shall arrange some driving lessons for you when you arrive. You may use this car for
taking the children to school, going to your English classes and for your private use within reason.

Mistä tiedät näiden olevan huijari-perheitä? On vaikeaa uskoa, että olet itse käynyt kokeilemassa kaikkia näitä perheitä. Vai perustuuko väitteesi pelkälle arvelulle ilmoitusten sisällöistä johtuen. Siinä tapauksessa vähän kannattaisi miettiä ennen kuin änkee ne tänne, sillä näissähän on noiden perheiden nimet ja yhteystiedotkin. Huonoimmassa tapauksessa menee täysin hyvän perheen maine pilalle.
Ekan ilmoituksen englanti on ihan OK, mutta palkkalupaus posketon. Lisäksi sairaanhoitajan ja automyyjän palkoilla ei Lontoossa mitenkään saa 6 makuuhuoneen asuntoa. Ei siis oikein uskottava tarina.
Tokan ja kolmannen ilmoituksen englanninkieli on niin huonoa, että niitä ei ole voinut kirjoittaa äidinkielenään englantia puhuva kohtuullisesti koulutettu ihminen.
Neljäs ilmoitus puhui niin paljon työluvan hakemisesta, ja tietyn agentuurin käyttämiseen siihen, että se vaikutti heti huijaukselta.

Ei oo huijauksia, 1200 puntaa viikko on ihan normitaksa. Eihan se oo kuin vaha yli 5000 euroo kuussa. Se ei oo paljoo monen tunnin tyosta.
Juuri taman takia taalla tarvitaan apua...
5000 euroa kuussa? eikö au pairin normitaksa pyöri jossain satasen paikkeilla viikossa? O.o

Ei ei, au pair saa 5000 euroa kuukaudessa. Mun äidin miehen sisko oli kerran au pairina ja sai ton tai jotain.
kylla mua pelottaa jos joku edes vahankin epailee naita juttuja oikeiksi.....
Kyllä mäkin vähän epäilin kun sain viestin jossa luvattiin 2000£ ja vähän päälle kuukaudessa ja työsopparit ja muut kun on tehtynä ei enään kauhesti epäilekään mulla kuukausi palkka on nyt sen 2400£ eikä siitä mitenkään kierretä.
Kun kaikki on kirjallisena paperilla, niin totuus alkaa hahmottua :) Tietenkin kannattaa aina varauksella vähän suhtautua, mullakin kun ensimmäisestä viestistä jäi pieni hassu kuva huonosta englannin kielestä, niin sitten host perheen "agentti" otti yhteyttä ja tarkensi asioita ja sillä eteenpäin.
Näin varmaan on lähinnä enkkulassa, jossa au paireista taistelu kovaa ja muutenkin hintataso aika korkealla:) ja toki jos perheellä on rahaa, mikäs siinä.. Itse olen lähdössä Sevillaan, palkka 55e per viikko jolla maksan harrastukset shoppailut, jos haluun mennä syömään ilman perhettä, biletys yms. Mielestäni aikas hyvin, kun kuiteski netti, puhelut, ruoka, kämppä yms. yms. saan perheeltä. bussikortin on luvanneet porukat maksaa, eikä oikein muita kuluja tuu..
Pieniananas, todella? Kun itse sain kanssa viestin mukavanoloiselta perheeltä, joka tarjoaa kanssa jotain tuon suuruista palkkaa, ja se epäilyttää. Onko niin korkea palkka tavallista? Kuulemma ovat molemmat perheenpäät töissä autoalalla, joten palkka kuulemma ei ole niin korkea heille. Sanoivat että ottavat yhteyttä lakimieheensä joka tekee työsopimuksen. Tänään lähettivät viestin, laitoin että ok, vielä ei ole mitään kuulunut.
