We are looking for two nice au pairs (non-smoker, with drivers license, English speaking, animal loving) to take care of our 3 horses, 6 dogs and 2 cats. Starting time is early May 2007, duration is for at least one year. We live in a modern country house in the Veluwe, a nature area 1 hour east of Amsterdam.
We always have 2 au pairs. Together they share the work and the fun of being with the animals. The first priority is taking care of the animals, the second is doing light house work in and around the house. Both our current au pairs are from Finland. They are leaving us Mid May. So we now seek 2 au pairs to join us just prior to their departure. So 2 female friends can become au pair with us.
We are a Dutch couple. Hennie (49) is partner with an international accountancy firm (KPMG) and Ellen (44) is managing director of the largest guide dog school in the Netherlands. She is also on the board of a Dutch animal protection and welfare society. There are no children. We eat on a semi-vegetarian basis (no meat).
Payment is in accordance with regular international au pair agency standards (Euro 350 a month, free meals, health insurance, a language course, travel paid, etc.) We also have a car which the au pairs can use in the local area. The work is for 5 days per week, 6 -8 hours per day. Overtime is paid extra.
