Vähän eskapistisen makuinen käännös, kieltämättä!
... se on inhimillistä. TV:ssä viime viikolla: itsenäisesti työskentelevä henkilö kertoi joutuvansa kantamaan täyden vastuun omasta työstään sanomalla että "The buck stops here". Käännös ruudulla oli: "Rahat jäävät minulle".
Yksi hyvin yleinen erehdys on suomentaa englannin "share" käyttäen verbiä "jakaa".
Share toki tarkoittaa kyllä sitäkin, mutta useimmissa tapauksissa se pitäisi kuitenkin suomentaa 'käyttää t. pitää jtkn yhdessä, yhteisenä', 'omistaa yhdessä samat jtkn' jne.
Miten olisi seuraavissa tapauksissa suomennettava:
