Lähiviikot ovat sääennusteen mukaan talvisia koko Euroopassa. Parin kolmen viikon kuluttua voi olla sitten odotettavissa suurempi 10 - 20 päivän kylmeneminen, joka johtuu stratosfäärin lämpenemisilmiöstä. Joen mukaan Skandinavia saa tehdä likaisen työn eli Suomeenkin voi tulla mukavat pakkaset. Itä-Euroopassa voidaan taas joutua kärvistelemään kunnon pakkasissa, joten toivottavasti sitten kaasu virtaa Venäjältä sovitusti.
