"Of course weather and climate are not the same. Yet many deniers would point to winter happening on the east coast and record snowfall as proof that climate change is not happening. What of record heat in Oregon? By the logic these deniers use, one could only conclude either that global warming is happening or that weather does not equate to climate. Do they pick and chose their weather patterns to base their denial off of? What of the southern hemisphere this summer? Where is the logical consistency for these deniers? Do they simply ignore facts like record heat in December for some areas of the country?"
