Aivan uskomatonta potastaa astrofyysikko Piers Corbyn puhuu videolla. Corbyn sanoo, että NOAA väittää, että jäätä oli viime kesänä enemmän kuin vuonna 2007. Tämä ei tietenkään pidä paikkansa. NOAA kertoo, että Arktisen merijään väheneminen on 13 % per vuosikymmen.

Miksi et katsonut videota, vai etkö ymmärtänyt kieltä?

Tekstiosiossa lukee tarkasti ottaen näin: "And when it comes to the Arctic, there is more ice in the Arctic now than there was in the minimum of 2007. This is according to official NOAA records." Huomannette sanan "now" ensimmäisen lauseen keskellä, siis ei puhuttu tämän vuoden minimistä mitään.

Et siis vieläkään ymmärtänyt mitä siinä lukee.

Eihän nyt voi olla sama kuin joulukuu, muutenhan meillä olisi joulukuu aina.

Siinähän sanottiin aivan selvästi että nyt on enemmin jäätä kuin "ennätysminimivuonna" 2007, lisäksi siinä videossa kerrottiin että ihan
NOAA,n mukaan.

Onko luetun ymmärtäminen tosiaankin noin vaikeaa?

Minusta ennätysmaksimivuosi oli Antarktiksella.
Voithan tietysti esittää todisteen että nyt on vähemmin jäätä missä hyvänsä
kuin vastaavana aikana jonain muuna vuonna.

True polar wander is a geophysical theory, a way of thinking about Earth processes that might happen and that these scientists believe do happen. The theory suggests that if an object of sufficient weight on Earth – for example, a supersized volcano or other weighty land mass – formed far from Earth’s equator, the force of Earth’s rotation would gradually pull the object away from the axis around which Earth spins. In other words, a supersized volcano far from Earth’s equator would create an imbalance.

As explained at Princeton.edu: "If the volcanoes, land and other masses that exist within the spinning Earth ever became sufficiently imbalanced, the planet would tilt and rotate itself until this extra weight was relocated to a point along the equator."

Researchers at Western University have discovered where the equator was "precisely located" 450 million years ago, which is an important breakthrough for paleontologists and planetary scientists, as well as private and public mineral resource companies. The findings have been published in the journal Geology and were highlighted in today's Editor's Choice section of Science. Jisuo Jin and Phil McCausland from Western's Department of Earth Sciences led an international research team that successfully traced a 6,000-kilometre stretch of fossils which proved the Ordovician equator ran through Northern Greenland, Manitoba (Canada), Utah and Nevada. The Ordovician geologic period, the second oldest of six of the Paleozoic Era, began 488.3 million years ago, following the Cambrian period, and ended 443.7 million years ago.
